A local glass artist will teach you how to make an etched dichroic glass pendant or keychain. This is a beginner class that requires no experience. You’ll create two pieces—make one for yourself and one for a friend! You will choose your cut glass from an array of colors, etch a design in it, layer additional glass over the design and place your pieces in the kiln. Your masterpiece will be fired for eight hours and left to cool overnight. The following morning, your glass artist will attach a bail to finish a beautiful, unique piece of jewelry handmade by you! Pieces will then be ready for pick up or will ship to you free of charge (international shipping rates may apply).

Special Note

Minimum age is 6. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a participating/paying adult. Please check-in at the Denali Arts & Glass Studio located at the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. Note that there is no transportation for the tour, but it is a short walk to the tour site. There will be an additional $10 fee charged at time of class for shipping overseas.

HOW TO BOOK

An array of optional excursions are available at the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. To add an activity to your stay, please visit the Tour Desk upon arrival at the lodge.  If you are booked on a Denali rail tour, you may call 1-800-426-0500 to book an excursion in advance.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Alaska Land Excursions, purchased through the Cruise Personalizer, may be cancelled up to three days prior to travel without any cancellation fees. Land Excursions cancelled prior to the cancellation deadline will be refunded to the credit card that you provided in the Cruise Personalizer to purchase your tours. Excursions cancelled within three (3) days prior travel are subject to a 100% cancellation fee, unless the operator, at their sole discretion, is unable to operate the program due to unforeseen circumstances. All sales of tours booked while on your land tour are considered final at the time of purchase and are 100% non-refundable except in the case of an operator approved cancellation.
