"TOKOSHA" - DENALI NATIONAL PARK ADVENTURE
See the wild side of Denali National Park! Travel in a warm, enclosed riverboat to the lodge, an original homestead within the southern border of the park. Meet the family and ask how they obtained one of the last federal homesteads in 1968. Hear about some homestead experiences, from bear encounters to home schooling, and enjoy hearty homestead snacks. On clear days this tour offers incredible views of Mt. McKinley and the Alaska Range. Always watch for wildlife such as black and brown bears, moose, wolves, otters, beavers, eagles and when running, sockeye and coho salmon. Come on out! It's your chance to see some real Alaska living. If you're joining us in the afternoon, sit down at the big family table which looks out over the Tokosha River and Mt. McKinley, and share a delicious homemade meal, complete with dessert.
