BYERS LAKE NATURE WALK

Get out and experience Alaska's incredible beauty on a two-mile nature walk in Denali State Park.  Enjoy magnificent views of Byers Lake and surrounding mountains, perhaps even majestic Mt. McKinley.  Learn about the area's animal and plant life from an expert naturalist, and take home a healing salve made from native plants.  Explore a historic log cabin and hear stories of the family's wilderness adventures.  You may see nesting trumpeter swans, loons, or bears foraging for spawning salmon.
