If you’re looking for big thrills then climb aboard the Talkeetna Queen for a cruise into the heart of the Alaskan Wilderness. Designed with comfort in mind, the 52-passenger vessel is one of the most technologically advanced jetboats in Alaska, created to safely navigate rivers that were previously inaccessible. Glass-domed and environmentally controlled it features an on-board restroom. The exhilarating yet gentle ride takes you 20 miles up the Susitna River, past eagle’s nests, moose, beavers and other wildlife. Upon arriving at the wilderness site, enjoy a 1/4 mile nature walk through the bush to an Dena'ina Indian encampment. You will visit an authentic trapper's cabin and see how trappers lived in the Alaskan frontier. Your guide will display raw furs from the local area and demonstrate trapping methods. Naturalists will describe wildflowers and plants, and identify those used by native Alaskans for food and medicine as well as the conditions they lived in over 100 years ago.

Reservation Policy

A credit card number is required in order to reserve an Alaska land excursion. Guests may cancel a land excursion reservation up to 48 hours prior to their first land excursion's departure date. At that time the credit card provided will be charged and no modifications may be made. Any excursion purchased while traveling through Alaska is final at time of sale.
