Experience a lively evening at the Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge and meet dog musher Lorraine Temple who's captivated audiences with her candor and excitement of ''Alaska's Official State Sport''' - dog mushing! During the program, Lorraine will introduce you to her sled dogs and you'll learn what it takes for these ''canine athletes'' to make it onto a real Iditarod sled dog team. Guests are invited to help harness and hook them on the gangline for a hands-on experience. She'll also share tales of the trail and what it takes to live in Alaska for over 25 years. The program also includes a captivating video and slide show that features vivid colorful images of glaciers, wildlife, activities, wildflowers, dog sledding, the Iditarod Sled Dog Race and adorable puppies that bring the mystique of Alaska to life.

Reservation Policy

A credit card number is required in order to reserve an Alaska land excursion. Land excursions are pre-reserve only until 21 days prior to the first day of your land tour and then you'll be charged for all tours on your booking. Land excursion reservations can be cancelled up to three (3) days prior to your first land tour day without penalty. All sales of tours booked while traveling through Alaska are considered final at the time of purchase and are 100% non-refundable.
