Arctic Circle Air Adventure

Now’s your chance to take off on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure and explore the Arctic Circle by air. After your arrival in Fairbanks, you’ll fly north over the wild, remote and expansive territory of the Yukon River Valley. Your flight will traverse gold mining fields and over a portion of the 800-mile-long Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Then a pass just south of the Gates of the Arctic National Park and over the rugged and magnificent Brooks Mountain Range, which is in the northernmost section of the Rocky Mountains and the highest mountain range in the Arctic Circle. But the thrills aren’t over yet. Upon landing at a wilderness community on the Middle Fork Koyukuk River, you’ll hear fascinating stories of the surrounding wilderness and receive an official Arctic Circle Adventure Certificate.
