Denali Natural History Tour

Glimpse the epic sweep of Denali National Park on this guided Natural History Tour. Begin at the Wilderness Access Center where you’ll view an award-winning film "Across Time and Tundra." Then sightsee along the official park road through a changing tapestry of tundra and taiga. Watch for moose foraging along braided rivers and, further along the road, scan the cliffs for nimble Dall sheep. At Savage Cabin, you’ll be greeted by a costumed interpreter who will take you through the park’s rugged pioneer days during an informative Living History presentation. And, at Primrose Ridge, you’ll get acquainted with traditional uses of the land during an intriguing Alaska Native presentation. Designed to offer up a broad introduction to the park’s natural and human history, this morning or afternoon tour leaves plenty of time to also include independent exploration or a favorite wilderness activity in your Denali experience.
