Denali Excursion by Helicopter

Denali Excursion by Helicopter

Denali Helicopter Adventure

Buckle up for a breathtaking, birds-eye view of Denali National Park, a spectacular 6-million acre preserve dotted with one million acres of glaciers. Your helicopter tour of Denali National Park begins as you board a cutting-edge A-Star helicopter. You’ll climb along the spine of the Alaska Range through the mountainous backcountry of towering peaks and ancient glaciers, and glide over massive glacier-carved valleys. You’ll hear expert commentary through headsets and, as you fly over the ever-changing topography, gain insight into how it all came to be. You’ll examine the fascinating geological features of the Polychrome Mountains and turquoise lakes left by receding glaciers, and Yanert Glacier, located in the central Alaska Range. Weather permitting, you’ll climb over the clouds to Mt. McKinley, North America's highest mountain, towering over 20,300 feet tall.
