Your excursion into the icy wilderness begins as your van takes you through the spectacular scenery of Thompson Pass with Worthington Glacier dominating the landscape. Upon arriving at the Worthington Glacier State Recreation Site, you'll notice that the glacier passes within just a few yards of the parking lot. After you experienced guide straps crampons on your shoes, you're off to hike and explore the crevasses and sculptured ice. Head further up the glacier and take in the unbelievably intricate ice formations and expansive views of the Chugach Mountains. Then hike down the glacier to the parking area and finish the day with a scenic drive to the Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge.

Reservation Policy

A credit card number is required in order to reserve an Alaska land excursion. Guests may cancel a land excursion reservation up to 48 hours prior to their first land excursion's departure date. At that time the credit card provided will be charged and no modifications may be made. Any excursion purchased while traveling through Alaska is final at time of sale.
