The tour begins at the Klutina River and heads down the Copper River, world famous for its annual salmon run. Look out for wildlife - there is an abundance of eagles and caribou migrate through the region. Predators like wolves, wolverines, and brown bears call the Copper River home, too. You'll make a quick stop to see items used over a hundred years ago by early settlers and prospectors. During the gold rush of 1898, gold miners came down the Klutina River in boats they handmade from spruce logs. But your first-class jet boat provides plenty of safety and comfort, from its completely enclosed cab, heater (for cold days), to its several video screens that offer a unique digital tour of the surrounding lands and history of the gold rush days.

A credit card number is required in order to reserve an Alaska land excursion. Guests may cancel a land excursion reservation up to 48 hours prior to their first land excursion's departure date. At that time the credit card provided will be charged and no modifications may be made. Any excursion purchased while traveling through Alaska is final at time of sale.
