Valdez Coastal Kayak Adventure

As you are led out into the waters of Port Valdez, your guide will share information about the area's natural history as well as the history of Valdez. Then as you paddle in to Prince William Sound soak in the serenity and splendor of the ice-blue water and the towering Chugach Mountains. The tour's path will follow a chain of small islands that have been designated as a State Critical Habitat for spawning pink and chum salmon and nesting sites for bald eagles and ravens. Have your camera ready for possible up close encounters with some of the residents of Duck Flats including a large number of marine birds, sea lions, and sea otters. Also keep a sharp eye for harbor seals that prefer sun bathing on any of the small islands to the cold water of the Duck Flats.

Reservation Policy

A credit card number is required in order to reserve an Alaska land excursion. Guests may cancel a land excursion reservation up to 48 hours prior to their first land excursion's departure date. At that time the credit card provided will be charged and no modifications may be made. Any excursion purchased while traveling through Alaska is final at time of sale.
