Your whitewater rafting adventure begins with a picturesque 14-mile drive in the backcountry along the rim of the Klutina River Canyon with stops at the best views of the river and the surrounding country. Along the way, your guide will tell stories of the gold rush days when prospectors, trying to get to the gold fields, would make their own wooden rafts and ride down the Klutina. Be prepared for class III fun and excitement and to be splashed and surprised by the moderate, irregular waves.

Reservation Policy

A credit card number is required in order to reserve an Alaska land excursion. Guests may cancel a land excursion reservation up to 48 hours prior to their first land excursion's departure date. At that time the credit card provided will be charged and no modifications may be made. Any excursion purchased while traveling through Alaska is final at time of sale.
