DENALI HELI-HIKING ADVENTURE

Our Heli-Hiking area lies just outside the boundaries of Denali National Park.  A short helicopter flight takes you to the top of the ridge overlooking the Yanert and Moody River valleys.  Spectacular vistas of the Alaska Range and Yanert Valley Dominate the view.  Mt. McKinley towers on the western horizon, and Mt. Deborah, at 12,339 feet, provides an incredible backdrop to the east.  As you follow the ridgeline, your experienced and knowledgeable naturalist guide stops often and interprets the flora and fauna of the area.  Watch for Dall sheep, caribou, moose and bears, as well as smaller mammals such as hoary marmots, pikas and see first hand the grandeur of Alaska.
