FLY / DRIVE TO KENNICOTT & MCCARTHY

Start your adventure with a 3-hour drive to the McCarthy footbridge with stops at the Kuskalana Bridge and the Gilahina Trestle. Walk the footbridge across the Kennicott River. Once on the bank a van will transport
you into the town of McCarthy to explore the town and enjoy a box lunch. Reboard your van for a 30-minute drive to the historic Kennicott Copper Mine where you will participate in a 2 1/2-hour guided tour. After
completing the tour, a short ride to the airport will deliver you to your Alaskan bush plane. Your experienced pilot will provide a spectacular narrated flightseeing excursion including views of the mountain peaks, glaciers, waterfalls and wildlife all located within the magnificent Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, landing in Copper Center.
