This Class III whitewater river trip offers continuous fast and intermittent splashy water as it travels the beautiful Klutina River valley of tall canyon-style bluffs and gently forested walls created from sediments left over from an immense ancient lake. En route you will get viewing stops and an interpretation of the geological history, early US Army exploration, and the gold rush history of the region and river corridor. This is a great first-timers whitewater rafting trip and suitable for the entire family.
